ERB conference “Euromediterranean Network of Experimental and Representative Basins”

Dear colleagues,

The deadline for submitting an abstract to the 18th biennial conference of the ERB network “Euromediterranean Network of Experimental and Representative Basins” is approaching (15th April)!

The ERB conference is entitled “New perspectives on hydrological and ecohydrological processes in small natural and human-impacted catchments”, and will take place on June 7-10, 2022 in the beautiful Elba Island, Italy.

The conference format includes:

·       A cozy and informal atmosphere, and plenty of interaction opportunities

·       A superb venue in a hotel on the beach with time spent out in the fresh air

·       Contests for the best oral presentation and the best poster for early career scientists, with great prizes

·       The ERB medal lecture

·       A guided field trip in the Elba Island

·       Discounted registration fees for students

·       Vibrant scientific discussions accompanied by wonderful Tuscan food

The conference is centred on the following themes that focus on small catchments:

·       New hydrological and ecohydrological monitoring techniques

·       Advances in hydrological and ecohydrological modelling

·       Environmental tracers in hydrological and ecohydrological studies

·       Hydrological and ecohydrological processes understanding in arid and humid catchments

·       Hydrological and hydrometeorological extremes

·       Erosion and sediment transport

·       Field work fails and unexpected behaviors

·       Open session on general catchment hydrology

More details are reported in the attached flyer. The abstract template is available on the conference webpage and registration instructions (deadline: May 2nd) will follow soon: www.erb2022.unifi.it

IMPORTANT! The possible conference residuals plus personal donations anonymously collected during the conference will be given to the UN Crisis Relief Fund for Ukraine, and the participants will be notified of the total donated amount.
