Sediment dynamic as input of coastal and estuarine systems

1. Modelling hillslope and fluvial sediment contributions from physically-based and distributed models. Applications in estuarine and coastal areas (1 hour)

2. Decision Support System (DSS) as tools for basin management in Mediterranean coastal environments. Speech and discussion (1 hour)

3. Stochastic modeling of bedload contributions. Practical exercise with Matlab or Python (2 hours of theory and 3 hours of practical exercises)

4. Impacts of dams and its associated cost within coastal areas. Speech and discussion based on the paper "Impact of river regulation on a Mediterranean delta: Assessment of managed versus unmanaged scenarios" (2 hours)
